How do we ship products?
We normally ship small packages with USPS Priority Mail or UPS. USPS is usually the least expensive for small packages and takes roughly 2-3 days to get anywhere in the US. Packages shipped by UPS can be tracked and are insured, unlike USPS. UPS will be used on most packages over 1 cubic foot in dimensions. UPS Ground will get a package almost anywhere in Michigan in one day. Larger packages normally go UPS.
Windsurfing boards, sailboat masts, large parts, or kayaks can only ship by Truck Freight. We will contact you with a freight quote before your order is processed.
We do not ship sailboats. We offer free local set-up and delivery or they can be picked up at the store.
How long will it take?
Orders are normally processed the next day. That means in stock items should get to you within 1-6 business days. Items that are not in stock are typically 1-2 weeks away.
How much does it cost?
Small orders are as displayed in the shopping cart.
Freight to most locations within the 48 States: Boards can be shipped for $150 to a commercial address or to a terminal, and $250 to a residential address. We do not ship Hobie Kayaks, Pro Anglers, or Islands. Certain addresses like NYC and others are exempt and can be quoted.
Boats are delivered free of charge within a 60 mile radius of Traverse City. We do not ship boats. Beyond that they can be picked up or a delivery can be quoted and arranged by contacting us.
Do we ship internationally?
We can ship internationally to Canada or U.S. territories only. We ship to Canada and U.S. territories via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail whenever possible. We currently will not ship boards, kayaks, or large items outside the continental U.S.
What if an item needs to be returned?
Returns are welcome for a full refund.
Returns must be done within 30 days of purchase date and must include a copy of the invoice.
Product must be unused and include original packaging.
Freight out and back is at the customers expense.
