We normally ship small packages with USPS Priority Mail or UPS. USPS is usually the least expensive for small packages and takes roughly 2-3 days to get anywhere in the US. UPS will be used on most packages over 1 cubic foot in dimensions. USPS is now charging extra for anything over 30" long, so those things will go UPS. UPS Ground will get a package almost anywhere in Michigan in one day. Larger packages normally go UPS.
Note - If you select USPS First Class shipping, the package is uninsured and will be your responsibility if lost or stolen.
Windsurfing boards, sailboat masts, large parts, or kayaks can only ship by Truck Freight. We will contact you with a freight quote before your order is processed.
We do not ship sailboats. We offer free local set-up and delivery or they can be picked up at the store.
Orders are normally processed the same or the next day. That means in stock items should get to you within 1-6 business days. Items that are not in stock are typically 1-2 weeks away.
Small orders are as displayed in the shopping cart after you enter a zip code.
Freight to most locations within the 48 States has gone through the roof: Boards can typically be shipped for about $300 to a commercial address or to a terminal, and about $400 to a residential address. We do not ship Hobie Kayaks, Pro Anglers, or Islands. Certain addresses like NYC and others are exempt and can be quoted.
Boats are delivered free of charge within an hour of Traverse City. We do not ship boats. Beyond that they can be picked up or a delivery can be quoted and arranged by contacting us.
We can ship internationally to Canada or U.S. territories only. We ship to Canada and U.S. territories via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail whenever possible. We currently will not ship boards, kayaks, or large items outside the continental U.S.
